I'd like to help with timing, but I am on a Mac and don't know of any subbing apps. If anyone can help me get a hold of one, I'll be willing to help!

Hi , nice ..we're always looking for peeps. I read once there is a way to get aegisub to work on a MAC but looks kind of complex. Maybe there's some other program we can look for.

I got a new Intel mac and decided to give Aegisub a shot. So I downloaded the App, opened it, and it runs fine! If there are any tutorials online that I should read, let me know. I will be messing around with it in the meantime, and try to get the feeling for it on my own.

Edit: Turns out the version I DLed is a beta version. Doesn't even work yet. I'll do some looking for other apps.

Last edit, I promise: I found a new subbing app for the mac called Miyu. So I took the script from the introduction of the first ep. of Amazon and subbed the intro song using the app. Keep in mind, the raw I used wasn't the same quality as the Hi No Tori raws. However, the program is still in its beta period, and has problems exporting the video to an AVI. It can export it to various other subbing programs, so let me know what you use and I can try to export it as that.

Hmm does it have an option to do timing via an audio file. That is probably the most ideal way timing is done. By loading the avi or maybe wav or mp3.
