Hi, I'm new.

I've never subbed anything before, but I am able to speak Japanese so hopefully that works (I'm half American and half Japanese).

As my user name suggests, I love fantasy stories. And among hundreds of stories I know of (including video games, books, movies, shows, anime, etc.), a good healthy amount of them happen to be tokusatsu.

Apparently in order to help with subbing, I should have some experience with Tokusatsu. Most of it is Super Sentai. I've watched just about all of them. My top favorites would have to be Bioman, Maskman, Liveman, Jetman, Dairanger, Gingaman, GoGo-V, Timeranger, Hurricanger, Abaranger, Magiranger, and Gekiranger. I've also seen Kamen Rider Black, and Gransazer.

Hopefully, my experience with Japanese can help out. Glad to be here!

You do not have to have any know how on fan subbing just a love for the series and from what I have read you have a lot of love for it.

It's less of a "working relationship" and more of a team. We're all friends here and we hang out on IRC all the time. This isn't a corporation, and as far as fansub groups go we're a niche within a niche. But small groups do tend to be friendlier.

Thank you. As Dark said if you could come by the IRC channel., so we can talk in real time. Fansubbing can be boring so as an incentive if there are any shows you are into. or want to work on you will have carte blanche. If there are any shows u want to just watch i can prb help out there as well....
Just remember our main focus is on classic Tokusatsu....although we may be taking a uturn on that for one particular show......

Okay, I got carried away and I might have come on a little bit too strong but I am just happy to have a new translator in our group.

But yes come and hang out on IRC channel and get to know everyone that is on there, and yes we are all about old school.
