The audio is delayed...so if u are streaming it....it won't work. You have to download it. Did this on purpose by the way. think i'll switch to a service that doesn't stream like Megaupload.

It won't download for you? That's strange. What exactly happens every time you try to download it?

Instead of creating a whole new thread for it, I just thought I'd ask it here.

Is anyone else having problems with episode 2? When I open it to watch it startws out going really fast like it is being fast forwarded and there is no audio.

you need to make sure you have the latest version of CCCP or k-lite installed and use MPC for the best results in playback as gingaman encodes use a different codec set up to before

Thanks for the suggestions, but I'm afraid Gingaman is a series I may have to skip over. As trying those did nothing and has actually made it impossible to play ANY MPEG4 files now (including my HD Decade & Shinkenger episodes) so despite the fact that Gingaman has been on my must see list for a while I'll have to wait until I can figure something else. All my other codecs are up to file though too.

Of course the odd thing is that on DivX and Real Player will play the audio, but no video.

EDIT: Man I'm an idiot, I can still watch it using the MegaVideo option just can't keep it to burn. Oh well at least I'm still going to be able to watch it which is good.

Ya know, I could have sworn I posted a response to this

Anyway

Gingaman is encoded using x264 and not XviD, as such players like RealPlayer and DivX Player will NOT be able to play these files, they are just not advanced enough

solutions

install VLC, VLC is a vertsitle player that can play these files with no modification or codecs, VLC is avaliable on Windows, OSX and Linux

or

Install CCCP, this comes with MPC and Zoom which when installed will allow x264 playback with ease

please remember these are encoded differently and as such require different playback options to what you normally use, for ease and simplicity we always recommend VLC as it works out of the box all the time, please try that and it should fix your problem

As for converting, we dont really support this as you will damage the quality that we put into the encodes, it is more advantagous to watch them in the quality we put out, with alot of modern TV's now having a VGA port of them you can simply hook a PC up to your TV and watch them that way, or if you have a PS3 or xbox 360 you can put the files on them and watch them on your TV, the settings used in these allow for playback on those devices

VLC is fine if your pc is any good or your gona watch on a lap top. VLC stutters on my pc and its no where near my tv so cables are out or the question, as for the loss of quality in conversion, it depends on the quality of your tv (which would have to be pretty good to replicate the resolution of your monitor).

If your pc is a bit crap, or you dont have an ps3 or xbox360 or you dont have a plasma, lcd or hdtv i still recomend conversion, that way you need only download a converter and not worry about codecs or alternative media players to your favorite one.
